April 2011 Life Insurance Company Updates

Every month Rootfin will bring you Life Insurance Company Updates – Rate changes, new products etc.   Here are the April 2011 Life Insurance Company Updates:

On April 18th, Banner Life reduced it’s rates for certain male ages in it’s 15, 20 and 30 year term plans.  Female rates were unchanged.

Fidelity Life introduced a new product on April 26th, 2011 called “Rapid Decision Express”.  It’s not available in most states as of right now.  Look for this in the future.

Principal Life insurance increased their maximum face amount for its term plans to $50 million.

Liberty Life insurance announced new business can be submitted until June 8th.  After that, no new business will be accepted.

William Penn Life Insurance introduced lower rates for certain male ages (unchanged for females) in it’s 15, 20 and 30 year terms.

American General rates decreased in certain age bands on all their term products.  It’s still not approved in all states.  If your policy is in underwriting, they will honor the lowest rate.
